I have only just found out of Adam’s passing today and am deeply saddened. I was one of his supervisors during his time working at the library at RU. Adam had a kind spirit and I know how much he cared for animals. He was also a talented artist. We have several of his drawings at the library, including one of a snowy owl that was given to me that I cherish.

Adam and I went to grad school together at RU and worked in the library together as well. I have many fond memories of him. We’ve kept in touch over the years, but we hadn’t talked in the last few months. He will be greatly missed. I’m so very sorry for your loss.

To the Waldrop Family,
Adam and I worked together at Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare. He was such a positive and wonderful guy to be around. He always had a funny story or joke to tell. We were neighbors in our work space, so we had many many chats. He loved his family and was so proud of his brother for going to VT. He had a great way of talking wit the kids we worked with that mental health problems. He loved to draw and it was very helpful for the kids to draw their feelings out on paper. We moved out of state and still kept in touch. Memories of celebrating his birthday at Kabuki. Sending hugs and prayers to the whole family.

Adam and I were in a play group together when we were 2 years old. We went to school together and although I ended up being a year ahead of him we always remained friendly. When he came to Hampden-Sydney his freshman year we reconnected and often socialized together. We lost touch over time as often happens but any time we ran into each other was always a joy. Adam was an incredibly kind spirit and I am deeply saddened by his passing. My most sincere condolences are with you all and Arrow.
God bless you all and him,
Neal Elliott
