Obituary of Karen Ferguson Waddell

Karen Ferguson Waddell, 66, of Salem went home to be with the Lord Thursday, May 24, 2018.  She was preceded by her father, William R. “Bill” Ferguson.

Karen retired as a property manager for Berkshire Properties.

Surviving are her husband, Jeff Waddell; step daughter, Jamie Waddell; grandchildren, Andrew Waddell, Peyton and Heather Benson; mother, Cella L. Ferguson; brothers, Randy Ferguson and wife Robin, Steve Ferguson and wife Angie; several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday, May 28, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. James Asberry.  Interment will be private.  The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. Monday until service time.  Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.  366-07007
