Herbert Leroy Yoakam, 81, of Roanoke passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018 at his long time residence in Roanoke Virginia. Leroy was born in Plant City, Florida April 12, 1937.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Ann Yoakam; brother, Danny Yoakam of Arizona; step children, Maria Cooper, Kathryn Cuddy, Donyae' Cooper, and Gary Cooper, Jr.; grandchildren, Tatiana Cooper, Josh Cuddy, and Makayla Cooper; and one great grandchild, Maliyah Cooper.
"God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be. So he put his arms around you and whispered, Come to Me".
A celebration of Leroy's life will be scheduled at a later date. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory. 366-0707
