Obituary of Ossie Collins Henderson

Ossie Henderson, 83, of Salem passed away Thursday, May 10, 2018.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Grover “Dooney” Henderson, parents, Willie and Bessie Collins, sister, Jean Collins and a brother, Lawrence Collins. 

Mrs. Henderson retired from Richfield Retirement Center.

Surviving are her son, Willie Henderson and Crystal Donahue; daughter, Kay Dixon and husband Mike; five grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren; brothers, Bobby (Geraldine) Collins, Jimmy Collins, Doug (Cootie) Collins, Clarence (Sherry) Collins, and Willard Collins; sisters, Virginia “Sis” Hartman, Ruby Davidson, Gilda “Pie” (Clyde) Eastridge.

A graveside service will be conducted 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 14, 2018 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be sent to www.simpsonfuneral.com  The family will receive friends from Noon until 1 p.m. Monday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road.  366-0707
