Obituary of Walker R. Jennings

Walker Randolph "Chump" Jennings, 71, of Salem passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2018 surrounded by his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Robert Jennings and Callie Davis Jennings, sisters, Laura Hall and Peggy Obenchain, and brother, Albert     Jennings, Sr.

Surviving are his wife, Clara B. Jennings; duaghters, Donna Edwards, Dana Draper, and Bobbie Jo Miller; grandchildren, Amanda Edwards, Halie Carter, and Travis Draper; great grandchildren, Chase Lewis, Lilah Draper, Dakota Draper, Gunner Epperly; brothers, Carl Jennings and Roger Jennings; sisters, Leona Ramsey, Hallie Passmore, Geraldine Cullup, and Patricia Bratton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to offer a special thanks to friends and caregivers, Shawn Blizzard, Dr. Bonnie Culkin, Patti, Monica, and Shaina and all of the staff at intrepid Hospice.

A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2pm Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Rev. Troy Mays. The familly will receive friends one hour prior to the serivce.
