Joe K. Brightwell 52 of Salem died unexpectedly Friday April 20, 2018. His mother, Darlene Brightwell, preceded him.
Left to cherish Joe’s memory are his wife of 27 years, Sherry Brightwell; his father, Carl R. Brightwell; sister, Tiffani Matherly and her husband Daniel of Sandy Level; brother, Rick Brightwell and his wife Susan of Charlotte; and their children, Mary, Matthew, and Jonathan; three nephews, Hunter Wood, Zachary Wood, and Cody Wood. Along with great nephews and nieces, and a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Vitalize Church, P.O. Box 682, Hardy, Virginia 24101 in his memory.
A service of Remembrance will be held at a later date.
