Obituary of Ronald Gilbert Huffman

Ronald G. Huffman, 83, of Roanoke, passed away unexpectedly while on vacation. Ron was retired from the N & W Railroad. He loved his family and friends, collecting model trains and traveling. 

Surviving are his son, Tim Huffman (Judy); special partner, Dottie Metz and her children, David Metz (Patty); Keith Metz and Susie Metz; brother, David Huffman (Barbara); and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Friday, April 20, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road. Interment will follow services in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
