Douglas (Randy) Hicks, 57 of Roanoke passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 1, 2018 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He was the owner of the Alternative Sealing Company for 20 years. Surviving are his son, Thomas Cody Hicks; granddaughter, Haylen Hicks; mother, Shelby Hicks Snider; step father, Lynn Snider; brother, Michael Hicks; sisters, Debra Price and Cathy Simpson all of Roanoke; several nieces; and a special friend Rachel Dixon also of Roanoke A celebration of Randy's life will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Schooners 7226 Williamson Road.
