My dear sweet husband, David L. Petrie, 62, of Chamblissburg, died Monday morning with me holding his hand. He left behind a broken hearted wife. But I know he is with wonderful company in heaven. Dave was a loving, generous, and thoughtful husband and friend. He will be greatly missed by all, but especially by me, his wife of 34 years. He was truly my soul mate. Thank you all who loved him, hunted with him, and who were touched by his friendship and love. No services will be held. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
