Obituary of Jeannette Robertson Noell
Jeannette Robertson Noell, 71, of Roanoke, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma R. Robertson, and her father, Robert G. Robertson, Sr.
Surviving are her husband of 49 years, Edwin; daughter, Michele Richardson (Taylor); son, William Noell (Krystal Chapman, and children, Ally and Jax); grandchildren, David and Eli Richardson, Michael, Andrew, Emma, Savannah, Nicholas, and Isabella Acevedo, brothers, Robert G. Robertson, Jr., Stuart M. Robertson (Anne); brother-in-law, W. C. Noell, Jr. (Carolyn); sister-in-law, Mary Vinson (Kenneth), former daughter in law, Victoria Acevedo (Frank); numerous nieces and nephews, and four girls in her small group, Kathy Glassbrenner, Vicki Honer, Anne Miller and Peggy Walker.
Jeannette was a Roanoke City school teacher and played first or second violin in the Roanoke Symphony Orchestra for years.
The family offers a special thanks to the staff of Amedisys Hospice, and especially our angels, Jewel and Stephanie, for the loving concern they provided the family as they helped and cared for Jeannette as she prepared for the journey to her heavenly home with our Lord and Savior.

A celebration of Jeannette's life will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory. 366-0707
