Obituary of Ginger Gay Repass Gibbs

Gingery (Snap) Gay Repass Gibbs, 49, born in Abingdon, VA on September 8, 1968 joined her Lord on Saturday, February 8, 2018.

She is survived by her loving husband, John C Gibbs, father and mother, Walter (Punk) and Gay Repass, brother and sister in law, Mark and Kelly Repass, three stepsons, Timothy, Christopher and David Gibbs and mother in law, Ruth J. Gibbs. Also surviving are aunts Pat Graybeal, and Gloria (James) Stroupe, cousins Frank, Lisa and Jacob Bowling, Herman Snead, and Melissa Stroupe and many other close family members.

John and Ginger were long time UVA fans and well known to the tailgate crowd along with the players and coaches. She had a big smile and a warm heart for everyone. We hope she knows how many people love her and will miss her.

Services will be held Thursday, February 15^, 2018 at 2:00 with visitation one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
