Obituary of Dennis Watson Body

Dennis Watson Body, Jr. 57, passed away peacefully Wednesday, January 31, 2018. 

Surviving are his husband, Joel Richard DeHart of Goochland; sister, Janie Blankenship; nephews, Matthew and wife Brittney, and Marcus Blankenship; great niece and great nephew, Clarissa and Aaron Blankenship all of Roanoke; cousin, Victoria Blake of Jenson Beach, Florida.  Special thanks to dear friends, Sharon Mazza and Darlene Coleman of Richmond.

Thanks also to the wonderful and caring staff at Virginia Hospice.

In lieu of flowers Dennis requested that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society or the Manakin-Sabot Veterinary Clinic.

A memorial service will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Hillary West of Arlington, VA.  Inurnment will be private.  The family will receive friends from noon Saturday, February 10th until service time at Simpson Funeral Home.  540-366-0707
