Obituary of Artie Rose McConnell

Artie Rose McConnell 75 of New Castle died peacefully Friday January 26, 2018. Her husband, Ryland McConnell, parents, Garland Rose and Ada Rose Heldreth and a sister, Faye Rose Allen, preceded her.

Surviving are sisters, Loretta Greenway and husband Charles, Polly Rose Sink, Ruby Rose Hutchison, Glenda Rose Dooley, and Rev. Loraine Taylor and husband Willis; nephews, Michael Greenway, Dwayne Cales, Casey Caldwell, Pastor Dewey Taylor, Jr., Joseph Taylor, Derek Dooley; nieces, Lorenia Sowers, Jessica Belcher, and Erica McKee. Along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family would like to say thank you the nurses and staff and the Salem Heath and Rehab for all their care and support of their sister, Artie.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00pm Monday January 29, 2018 at Simpson Funeral Home with Rev. Loraine Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in Brickey Cemetery in Craig County.
