Everett Dale McConnell, 43, of Blue Ridge, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, January 19, 2018. Everett retired after numerous years from the Botetourt Correctional Center. Everett was preceded in death by his father, Everett Lynn McConnell. Surviving are his mother Edna R. McConnell; sisters, Tracy Hodges & husband David and Stacey Ransome & husband Brian; nephew, Ryan Romanello; as well as numerous other family members. Services will be held Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Wildhurst Presbyterian Church. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. (540)366-0707.
