Obituary of Jessie Janney

Jessie Janney went home to be with the Lord on January 1, 2018 at the age of 32, Jessie worked for Janney Trucking, a longtime family own business carrying mail for the USPS. He was born in Roanoke VA. Jessie was proceeded in death by his father, Mike Janney. Sr. his brother, Mike Janney, Jr. nephews, Noah Heath, and Tristin Boothe, a niece, Autum Janney, a special uncle, Rick Janney and  a special aunt, Sharon Janney.

 Jessie is survived by his mother, Mary Pansy Marie Janney, his Godparents, Sandy, and Donnie Dooley; sisters, Crystal Perkins, Jennifer Janney, Heather Heath, Kim Boothe, Amanda Velez , Karen Begley, Tracie Janney, Shannon Gallier, and Stephanie Cole; brothers, Rick Janney “Bear”, Glen Carter, and DJ Caldwell. Along with his best friend, JR Heath (brother from another mother); his brothers-in-law, Doodle Lang, Randy Ragland, John Boothe, Vicente Velez, Rigo Rodriguez; special nieces, Kelsey Mabry, Jaylan Boothe   Kayla Carter, Haven Janney, Caritina Velez, Caitlin Nichols, Boogie Cole, Josilynn Cole, Jereka Cole.

In addition a special nephews, Mac Thomasson, Tater Mabry, Ethan Heath, Roy Perkins Jr, Christopher Perkins, Brayden Delp,  Brandon Witt, Brent Witt, Tony Rojas, Vicente Velez Jr, Alex Janney, Dustin Janney, Jacob Tolley , Deion Carter; special aunts and uncles, Betty Bowes, JJ Janney, Diane Janney, Howard Janney, Jerry Collins (Duck) Uncle G; special friend Kristy Waldron and kids, Brianna, Noah, Nora, Macy; girlfriend Nikki Caldwell and kids, Omni, Keevohn.

Jesse has touch so many lives while he was here on earth with us. He had a heart of gold, he never meet a stranger in his lifetime. He had so many special friends that he loved.

Jesse loved to hang out with his family and friends playing darts, singing karaoke. However, his true love was riding motorcycles and the Dallas Cowboys. 

We will have a viewing for Jessie on Saturday January 6, 2018 from 2:00 – 4:00p and 6:00 – 8:00p for family and friends to share memories of Jessie at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke VA 24019. Donations can be made to Simpsons Funeral Home to help cover the cost of his funeral
