Obituary of Sue Sprinkel Markham

Sue Sprinkel Marham, 75, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord, Monday, December 11, 2017. She was prceded in death by her parents, John Edward and Pauline Rucker Sprinkel; a brother, Richard Sprinkel and a sister, Betty Woody. 

Sue was a member of Williamson Road Church of the Brethren and retired after a long career in banking. 

Surviving are her devoted husband of 56 years, Sidney Glen Markham; sisters, Eddie Mae Rader and husband Robert, Nellie Zaun and husband Sonny; numerous nieces and nephews and her devoted companion Dollie. 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Williamson Road Church of the Brethren 3110 Pioneer Road Roanoke, Virginia 24012. 

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, December 14, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Harvey S. Leddy. Entombment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, at Simpson Funeral Home Home, (540)366-0707.
