Dearest Gina,
The loss of our mothers is a loss of love, security, and friendship. I know that we both had similar upbringings and similar family values; that of devotion to faith, family and what is right. It is a unique feeling to be the generation to carry that on now that our parents have left our side to reside in heaven. I pray for you to feel the warmth and safety that was there when your mom was still living; only now to feel it is heart and spirit. I never forget the words that are so ingrained since my Dad's death in August:
"Remember me in quiet days...have no grief, let the joy we knew remain.live for me and laugh for me, when you are happy so am I. ...remember me when spring walks by; think once of me when you are glad, and while you live, I shall not die!"
I wish to be with you in person on Saturday, but second best are my thoughts and prayers to surround you.
I love you.
Lisa
