Obituary of Helen Katherine Tucker Whitescarver

Helen Tucker Whitescarver, 94, of Roanoke, Virginia passed away, December 8, 2017. She was born March 6, 1923 in Blacksburg, Virginia to Emmett and Theresa Tucker. She received her R.N. nursing degree from The University of Virginia, and worked for many years at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was a lifelong book lover and had the kindest of hearts. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joe and brothers Jim and Bud, and her former husband Roy. She is survived by her two sons, David and Richard, David's wife Ann Lise, and sister-in-law Kathleen, and extended family.
