Obituary of David Wayne Robertson

David Wayne Robertson 65 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Saturday November 25, 2017. He was preceded by his mother, Lola Lee Robertson, brother, Gerald Michael Robertson, and sisters, Teresa Diane Robertson and Donna Sue Robertson. 

David loved the outdoors, camping and especially fishing, he also liked to watch drag racing and looking at hot rods. He loved carrying on and had a great sense of humor. David also volunteered at the Rescue Mission where he met his love, Julie. 

Surviving are his father, Gerald Gibson Robertson; sister, Lola Jane Whitlow; aunt Bettie Hale, and David’s significant other Julie Fracchia, whom he loved dearly. Along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rescue Mission Ministries in Roanoke, Va. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Saturday December 16, 2017 at Bonsack Baptist Church in the old chapel with Pastor Danny Quirin officiating.
