Grover C. “Dooney” Henderson, 83, of Salem passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Cora Davis Henderson, brothers, Clarence and Thomas, and a sister, Nancy.
Mr. Henderson was a longtime employee of Salem Frame.
Surviving are his wife, Ossie Henderson; son, Willie Henderson and wife Ellen; daughter, Kay Dixon and husband Mike; five grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; brothers, Carlos “Wick” Henderson, Arthur “Bossy” Henderson; sister, Nadine Holmes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
