Goad, Laura Justine, Our beloved daughter Laura, 24 of Roanoke passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012. Laura had a long journey in life; it was just too far for her to travel. She grew tired and needed to rest.
She was preceded by her aunt, Carolyn Haymore and grandfathers, Willard C. Goad and Gerald L. Lamb, Sr. Surviving are her parents, Steve and Sandra Lamb Goad; brother, Matthew Steven Goad; grandparents, Barbara Goad, Deloris and George Scott. She also leaves behind loved uncles, aunts and cousins and was very much loved by her two dogs, Bella and Khloie all of Roanoke.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Angels of Assisi, 415 Campbell Ave, Roanoke, Va. 24016 or to the Roanoke Valley SPCA, 1340 Baldwin Ave, Roanoke, Va. 24012 in her memory.
A service celebrating Laura's life will be held 7:00pm Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at Simpson Funeral Home with Linwood "Woody" Windley officiating. Friends may visit with the family Wednesday from 5:00pm till service time. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com.
