My dearest Father~
I miss you~! I miss talking with you, laughing with you, and sharing my life with you. I miss YOU being there~! You were the most unique individual I have ever known. There was no one like YOU Dad~! You were so intelligent, a Major history buff, very political, on top of current events, a well rounded traveler, and a lover of the finer things in life. You done good Dad~as we would say here in Texas. You loved art, and Your home was a beautiful reflection of that love. I was astounded at the collection of WW11 airplanes that you built~so intricate and all very detailed. You were creative~! And you loved Europe, and traveled yearly to Spain and France. You also spoke the language that you taught yourself to speak~! Pretty amazing fellow~and very talented. And you loved to cook, which I always loved too~i loved popping into your home in Coppell for a delicious meal that you would lovingly prepare, as well as give me the detail, the region, and the origin of the recipe as you prepared the meal. You were simply amazing~!!! You were so very generous these last few years as well, and truly blessed me and the girls~I wish to Thank YOU for your generosity and your kindness. You took great care of the things and people that you loved~! I shall miss you, but I hold you in my heart for eternity~I love you Dad. I'll be seeing ya~robin

Dear Dad:
I can't tell you how much I'm going to miss you and I want to thank you for being my father all these years.
You taught me how to cook, and oh my what fun we had in the kitchen together! I remember one time I arrived at your house and you were headed out the door to the grocery store, with the comment "For God's sake Holly, there's a lettuce shortage in California and I'm off to stock up!". And back you came with quantities of all sorts of lettuce. What was to be done with that much lettuce? Why lettuce soup of course! It was wonderful, I kid you not. I always said that you could make an old shoe tender and delicious.
Now you are gone; but know that with every meal I prepare, you'll be in my thoughts and it is you we will toast. So raise a glass to Terry Robbins Eastman!
Your loving daughter,
Holly Gray

I remember Terry from my days with Linda at Bradley University. And then what a delight to see him, again, at Linda’s 50th birthday party. He was quite the gent. I was greatly saddened to hear of his passing, but I will remember him with fondness. My thoughts are with all his family.

My beloved brother - Terry Robbins Eastman - passed away late Monday evening, November 6, 2017. Terry and I were the children of the late Albert Lowell "Skip" Eastman and Sylvia (Gray) Eastman - Terry being my older brother by thirteen years. He was unique – a bit quirky; not always politically correct; funny; opinionated; a Foodie; always dapper; a creative chef - who was self-taught and absolutely knew his way around a kitchen; curious and well-read; a lover of the finer things in Life – and some of the simple things, too – including strong coffee, ice cream, peanuts and beer; accomplished in the field of x-ray technology; published via technical articles and a manual regarding x-ray fundamentals; argumentative; an oenophile; devoted to his interests: family and friends; the history of WWII; constructing intricate models of WWII fighter planes; politics; all things French, including memories of his time serving at the military hospital in Fontainebleau; Spain and its music and cuisine; and so much more (!). And, above all, Terry was genuine. There was nothing fake about Terry. He will be greatly missed by family, friends, and former co-workers (spanning the globe) alike. Today I’m sending my condolences and love to Vickie, and Terry’s two daughters - Robin Ann Eastman and Holly Gray (Eastman) Studinger. RIP Brother-person!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one.
God views death as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26)
And, he is eager to conquer this enemy death, and to resurrect our loved ones. ( Job 14:14,15)
At that time period, death will be no more. (Rev. 21:4)
I hope this comforts you and your family.

Vickie~we are all grieving the loss of my Dad. I know I am so shocked and saddened by his death. You are in my prayers, night and day. You are not alone, You are family to me. Please realize we are here for YOU, and we love you. Dad was a character, he loved life, and he always met each day with gusto~He was an excellent cook and he loved cooking and eating~this I know. What little I know, came from him. He cherished You, I hope You know this. And he gave you the best life he could. I know you are struggling, please feel free to reach out to me. I want you too~and I definitely want you to stay connected to me, and to Linda, and Holly. As I said, You are family. Let me know, if I can do anything for you, or if you need help. I am so sorry that this happened, and that we are still without answers. But life does go on. Stay connected to God, press into HIM, Pray and ask for His strength and His courage to meet each day. God will help you get through this. And me as well.
I love you very much,
robin
