Obituary of Evelyn Virginia Morris

Evelyn Virginia Dalton Morris, 72 of Buchanan peacefully went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 30, 2017. She was preceded by her mother and father, Ethel and Raymond Dalton, sister, Sue Riley, brother, Raymond Dalton, Jr., nephew, Allen Riley, and father-in-law, Letcher Morris.

Mrs. Morris worked in the sales and collection of antiques.

Surviving are her husband, Patrick Morris; son, Daniel Plybon; daughter, Gina Hodges Kans; sister, Shirley Dooley and husband Carl Wayne Dooley; brother, Kenneth Dalton; and mother-in-law, Iona Morris. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to Angels of Assisi 415 Campbell Avenue S. W. Roanoke, Va 24016.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
