October 24, 2017 Kenneth W. "Ken" VanDellen of Roanoke died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 24, 2017. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald "Jay" VanDellen. Surviving are his father and mother, Charles "Chuck" and Joyce VanDellen; sister, Kimberly McCartney and husband Kenny; special friend, Marla Salmon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to God's Pit Crew 2499 North Main Street Danville, VA 24540. A memorial service will be conducted 3 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Mike Anderson.
