Obituary of Viola Mae Coles

October 23, 2017 Viola Paige Coles of Elliston went home to be with the Lord Monday, October 23, 2017. She was preceded by her husband, Charles A. Coles; parents, Charlie Sr. and Victoria Paige; brother, Roy Irvin Paige and niece, Kimberly Paige. Surviving are her son, Matthew Coles; brothers, George Paige and wife, Laura, Charlie L. Paige, Jr. and wife, Marsha; sisters, Syrinda Hughes, Doris Kendrick and husband, Edmond, Queen Cobbs and husband, Wiley, Cherry Montgomery and husband, Paul; and numerous nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Patricia and Eddie Wright. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, October 27, 2017 in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road, 540-366-0707.
