Obituary of Barbara Pedigo Wade

Barbara Pedigo Wade 85 of Roanoke went to be with the Lord, and her husband, Edward on Friday October 6, 2017. Her parents also preceded her.

Like her husband Edward, Barbara enjoyed sitting together and looking out over their farm and cows. She was a collector of antiques, roosters and anything pretty. A very loving and caring wife, sister, aunt, friend, and just a wonderful and beautiful person who is going to be dearly missed by all.

Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Dorothy “Connie” Wade, and Sharon Pedigo; a special niece, Robin Robertson. Along with a host of other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association in Barbara’s memory.

A service celebrating Barbara’s life will be held 2:00pm Tuesday October 10, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends from 5:00-8:00pm Monday October 9, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home. Condolences may be left for the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com.
