Obituary of Charles Minor Musselman, Jr.

Charles (Moose) M. Musselman, Jr., 81, of Roanoke was called to be at the side of his Lord and Savior on September 22, 2017.  Moose passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his children.  He was born in Danville, Va., the son of the late Rev. Charles M. Musselman, Sr. and Fleta Mae Musselman.  Mr. Musselman is preceded in death by his wife of 52 Years, Mrs. Sandra Musselman.  He is also preceded by his brother Dorman Musselman, sisters Elene Kinser and Dorothy Foutz, and son Charles D. Musselman.

Mr. Musselman is survived by his loving family; sons Tommy Musselman, Brooks and wife Teresina Musselman, daughters Kathryn (Kat) Ballew, Brandi and husband Robert McCormick, and his brother Thurman Tom and wife Jackie Musselman.  Moose has ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, and multiple nephews and nieces.

The family would like to send a special thank you to Cendy Moran for all her dedication, care, love and support she gave Moose and the family.  They would also like to express their gratitude to Gentle Sheppard Hospice for the assistance they provided to the family.

Flowers should be sent to Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory in Roanoke, Va.  Anyone wishing to make donations in lieu of flowers are asked to make donations to local VFW in memory of Charles (Moose) M. Musselman, Jr.

The family will receive friends Sunday, September 24, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Monday, September 25, 2017 at 12 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel.
