Obituary of Joseph Nathan Conner

Joseph N. (Buddy) Conner, 84, of Roanoke passed away on September 16, 2017

Buddy was born in Halifax County on June 26, 1933 and resided in Roanoke for over 52 years. He was a devout Christian and member of North Roanoke Baptist Church for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years Nancy, his sons Mark (Vicky) and Ken (Marie). four granddaughters and four great grandchildren.

He was a passionate volunteer at Roanoke Memorial Hospital for over ten years.

A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at North Roanoke Baptist Church by the Rev. Daniel Palmer. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
