Larry “Wiggy” Tomlin, 72, of Salem, passed away, Friday, September 15, 2017. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence W. and Alice M. Tomlin. He is survived by son, Todd Tomlin and wife Jennifer; grandson Philip Tomlin; brother, Bill Tomlin and wife Carol; nieces and nephews, Alan Tomlin, Scott Tomlin, and Pam Talley. The family would like to offer a special thanks to Larry’s caregivers Olaf and Joy Barthelmai, for the care they gave him. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the DAV or the Virginia Baptist Children’s Home. The family will receive friends Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
