Brenda Darter LaRue, 67, of Roanoke, Va., died Saturday, September 9, 2017. Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Henry H. and Edith Dooley Darter; and her brother, Jackie H. Darter. Brenda is survived by her two sons, Brian Baker (Angie) and Chris Baker (Jodi); one granddaughter, Linsey Baker; her two beloved and devoted sisters, Linda Hardy and Judy Dooley (Dennis); and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.
