Obituary of Lellie Frances Riggle

Lellie C. Riggle, 74, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 5, 2017. She was preceded by her husband, James Davis, brothers William and Jesse Cruff, sisters, Janice Mills and Glayds Cruff and her loyal companion Peppi.

Lellie was a former employee of both Tultex and Sunnyside Awnings.

Surviving are her sisters, Julie Klemm and husband Robert, Kathy Cruff; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Angels of Assisi or Good Samaritan Hospice.

The family offers their special thanks to the staff at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospice and special friends Addy Day and John St.Clair for their many acts of kindness and support during Lellie’s illness.

A graveside service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, July 8, 2017 in Sherwood Memorial Park by Pastor Tim York. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
