Obituary of Mary Franklin Cole

Mary Franklin Cole 82, of Roanoke City, formally of Staten Island, New York, has entered into the presence of God the Father on Friday, June 23, 2017.

Mary retired after 25 years with the Willowbrook State School on Staten Island in New York.

The mother of 7 is survived by 4 living children, Mr. Dennis D. and Marion Coles, Ms. Darlene C. Jeffery, Mr. Frederick and Rev. Sabrina Hargett, and Mr. Kenneth Coles. She leaves the hope of Eternal Life to 12 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and a myriad of family and friends within the body of Christ.

Mary’s Home-Going service will be held Friday July 7, 2017 at 12:00pm at New Life Christian Ministries 5745 Airport Road, Roanoke VA 24012. Arrangements handled by Simpson Funeral Home, 366-0707.
