Obituary of Marla Ann Latham

Marla R. Latham, 61, of Salem went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 25, 2017. She was preceded in death by her father, Otis Reynolds.

Marla retired after 34 years of service at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Salem.

Surviving are her mother, Peggy Reynolds; daughter, Nicky Butt and husband Todd; grandchildren, Cayden and Chloe Butt; brother, Sheldon “Bubba” Reynolds.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to Alzheimer’s Association 1160 Pepsi Place Suite 306 Charlottesville VA 22901

A celebration of Marla’s life will be held 4 p.m. Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
