Shaun was born on January 24, 1978 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He died at his home on Friday, June 16, 2017, in Roanoke, VA. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents: Buford and Ethel Burke and O.T. and Pauline Austin. Shaun was a beloved son, dad and soon-to-be granddad. He is survived by his dad Jerry Austin of Roanoke, VA; his mother Nancy Austin Morris of Bristol, VA; two sons, Christopher Austin of Chester, VA and John Martin of Chesterfield, VA. Online condolences may be sent to the Austin family through Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
