Obituary of Dorothy Ann Montgomery

Dorothy P. Montgomery, 84, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, June 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claiborne B. and Ethel Corvin Perkins, and a brother, Robert S. Perkins.

Mrs. Montgomery retired after 30 years of service with C & P Telephone.

Surviving are her son, David A. Fritts and wife Martha; daughter, Ann C. Montgomery; two granddaughters, three great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Betty Perkins; two nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by Pastor Mark Ellis. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday in St. Pauls Lutheran Church Cemetery, Rural Retreat, Virginia. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
