Obituary of David Raymond Davis

David Raymond Davis 81 of Salem went to be with the Lord on Wednesday June 7, 2017. His wife Mary Davis, and their son, Kevin W. Davis and a brother, Garland M. Davis, preceded him.

Mr. Davis retired from Kroger after 42 years of service with them. All who knew him will miss a wonderful husband, father, brother, and friend, who loved his family and friends dearly.

Left to cherish his family are his daughter, Sheere Stinnett; sister, Pauline Prillaman; family, Martha Gosnell, Barbara, James, John, and Zoey Nichols and a host of others. Along with his canine companion, “Danielle”.

Sheere would like to say thank you to all the family and friends who were there during these times.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Saturday June 10, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
