Obituary of Donald G. Harrison

Donald G. Harrison 80 of Roanoke passed away Monday May 29, 2017. His wife Edith Harrison and their son, Donald, preceded him.

Mr. Harrison served proudly in the United States Marines during the Korean War and the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from IBM and Verizon after many years of service with them.

Surviving are his sons, David Harrison and wife Irene of Sweden, Jeffrey Harrison and wife Debra of GA., Steven Harrison and wife Maria of Roanoke; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Harrison of N.Y; ten grandchildren, Darshaya, Renee, Steven, Collin, Shawn, Eric, Erica, Nicole, Hunter, and Cortney; five great grandchildren, Annaliese, Weston, Rhian, Joey, and Jesse.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the DAV Chapter3 H H MacKenzie, 2381 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, Va. 24153 to help the Disabled American Veterans organization.
