Bernice (Mac) Fleck, 98, of Roanoke, died Friday, July 6, 2012. She will be remembered by all that knew her as a dynamite, sparkling, loyal and helpful lady, mother, aunt, nurse, friend, and Christian. She is survived by daughter Caryl Zaronikos; her niece, Carla Schwertz; and step-children, Fred Fleck and his wife, Jeane, and Jann Schonke and her husband, David. She has left multiple beloved nieces, nephews, and step-grand and great-grand children including; Carl, Laura, Ryan and Zach Schwertz; Cristen, Byran, Jacob and Julia Chappell; Caren, Macon, Meredith and Annie Sizmore; Martha, Dale, Alycia, Stephanie and Eric Siedl; Stephen Schonke; Jacob Fleck and Cameron McHenry; Suzan Fleck-Reynolds, and Sloane and Garth Reynolds.
In lieu of flowers consider donating to the youth of Christ Lutheran Church (Roanoke), Salvation Army, or goodies for the medical/nursing staff of 5E at Lewis-Gale Hospital, and staff of Pheasant Ridge Nursing Rehabilitation Center.
