Cheryl “Cherry”, “Mimi” Stacy 72 of Roanoke was welcomed into Heaven on Saturday April 22, 2017 at her home, where she passed peacefully with her family by her side. Her parents, Irvin “Boots” Turner and Doris J. Turner, preceded her. Living to cherish her memory are her husband, Clyde Stacy; brother, Michael Turner and his wife June; daughter, Robin Guthrie and her husband Wayne; a son; Andy Overstreet; granddaughter, Jessica Murphy and her husband, Shawn; great grandson, Mason Murphy; niece, Heather King and husband Jeff; along with many cousins, including Sandy Wilkes, Rocky “Pete” Allen and wife Doris; her best friends, Mary Abbott and Patty Harmon. A funeral service celebrating Mrs., Stacy’s life will be 2:00p Wednesday April 26, 2017 in Simpson Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Alls officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Tuesday April 25, 2017 from 2:00-4:00p and 6:00-8:00p at Simpson Funeral Home.
