Obituary of Norma Folden Altice

Norma Folden Altice 64 of Cloverdale went to be with the Lord on Tuesday April 11, 2017. Her parents, Glen and Ruby Gibson, grandson, Michael Shane Jones, and her first husband Joseph Richard Folden preceded her. Mrs. Altice was a member of the Cloverdale Church of the Brethren since childhood. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Honey Bees Chapter of Cloverdale. In addition, a member of the Golden Friends Club. A very loving and caring wife, mother, nanny, nana, and friend who will be dearly missed by all. Surviving are her very loving and devoted husband of 39 years, Bob Altice; daughters, Kimberly Folden, Michelle Folden Wright and husband Aubrey; her grandson, Dominic; sister, Glenna Eubank and husband Roger of Cloverdale, brother, Tommy D. Gibson and wife Patty of Cloverdale; special nieces and nephews, Emily Chaklos, Danielle Tolley and Jonathan Gibson. Special friends, Mary, Freda, Judy, and Dottie. Along with too many other relatives and dear friends to mention. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Norma’s memory to the Cloverdale Church of the Brethren. A funeral service celebrating Norma’s life will be held 11:00am Friday April 14, 2017 in Cloverdale Church of the Brethren with Pastor Patrick Starkey officiating. Interment will follow in Daleville Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday April 13, 2017 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm at Simpson Funeral Home.
