Marshall Robert Funk, 33, of Roanoke passed away, Monday, March 13, 2017. He was preceded in death by his son, Tobias Eugene Funk, mother, Alissa St.Clair, grandparents, Janet St.Clair, Robert and Sandra Funk; step father, Roy Craighead, and aunt, Bee Tee St. Clair. Marshall attended Lord Botetourt High School and was a respected HVAC Technician for Country Breeze Heating and Air Conditioning. He was a member of Harvest Ministries. Marshall will be remembered for his one of a kind smile and the love he had for his children. Surviving are his wife, Lindsey Roberts Funk; children, Jillian Taylor, Maylia Pearl, Keaton Marshall, Zoey Alaina and Asher Samuel Funk; father, Marshall Earl Funk; sister, Erica Ione Funk; aunts and uncles, Milan (Anita) Funk, Sharon (Richard) Thompson, Melvin (Martha) Funk, and Richard St.Clair; a special cousin, Angela Shouse; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road by the Rev. Milton Atkins. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Simpson Funeral Home. 366-0707
