Obituary of Frances Ellen Brooks

Frances Crotts Brooks 90, of Roanoke went to be with the Lord on Friday March 3, 2017. Her husband Windell Timothy Brooks, parents, Amos and Erma Crotts, along with three brothers, preceded her. Our mom and dad are reunited with Jesus.
Mrs. Brooks was a member of Mason Cove Chapel,where she taught Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School. Later in life, she attended Christian Life International. A very loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Wanda Vaughan and husband Edward, Nona Arthur and husband Jimmy, Sr.; grandchildren, Edward Timothy Vaughan, Jimmy Arthur, Jr., and wife Tati, Melissa Arthur; great grandchildren, Maureen Arthur, Windell Timothy Arthur, Rachael Arthur, and Elijah Arthur; sisters, Maritta Bryan and husband Dan, and Evelyn Rakes; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr Q. Raza, and the Gentle Shepherd Hospice staff especially, Donna, Rosa, and Sandy for their many acts of compassion.
A memorial service will be held Noon Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at Christian Life International 1 CLI Way Salem VA with Pastor Debbie Hutton officiating. Condolences may be left for the family at www.simpsonfuneral.com Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory, 366-0707.
