Kim Paczkowski James 47 of Roanoke went home to be with a higher power Thursday, February 23, 2017. She was preceded by her father and an infant daughter, Zara Lipke. Kim was an active member in good standing for seven years in “Friends of Bill”Surviving are her husband, Howard James; son, Zordon Lipke; granddaughter, Delilah Marie Lipke; mother, Bonnie Paczkowski and life partner Sandy Buell; brother, Dave Paczkowski; sisters, Patty Williams, Terri Paczkowski, and Lisa Dominick; mother-in-law, Linda James; sister-in-law, Cynthia Via and husband Jeffery; and many friends whom she blessed and was loved by.Memorial gifts may be made to the family.There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. 366-0707
