Linda Bandy Williams of Roanoke left us unexpectedly on Friday, February 17, 2017. She was born May 26, 1957 in Tazewell, Virginia the daughter of the late Cecil and June Bandy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her former husband, Bobby Rogers and a grandchild Austin.
Linda was a very giving person and kind to everyone she met. She was a loving Mother and Grandmother who will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Surviving to cherish her memory are her fiance, Robert Vining; daughters, Dana Rogers and Barbara Taylor; grandchildren, Blake, Cameron, Seth, Landon, and Madison; brothers, Cecil (Beverly) Ayers, Clyde Bandy, Curtis (Lorey) Bandy; sister, Lydia (Keith) Altice; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at Simpson Funeral Home 5160 Peters Creek Road. The family will honor Linda's request that there be no service and that her remains be cremated. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home & Crematory. 366-0707
