Louella May Wade 87 of Roanoke, VA. went to be with the Lord on Sunday February 5, 2017. She was a member of College Lutheran Church in Salem, VA. She worked for many years with troubled youths and later as a dog groomer, and trainer. Louella was preceded in death by her parents, and five of her siblings, the most recent of whom was Franklin Wade, of Roanoke, VA. Louella is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean Wade, of Roanoke; her five nieces and nephews, Sandra Wilson (Charles), of Jordan, MT, Steven Heasley (Barbara), of Beverly, WV, Stanley Heasley (Jane), of Morgantown, WV, Kristine Wade, of Concord, NC, and Scott Wade (Marjorie), of Roanoke, VA; along with numerous great nieces, nephews, other relatives and special friends, Tim and Linda Knick. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Francis Service Dogs, P. O. Box 19538, Roanoke, VA. 24019. 540.342.3647, or to College Lutheran Church, Salem, VA. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00am Friday February 10, 2017, at the College Lutheran Church with Pastor Wynemah Hinlicky officiating, Fellowship will follow the service. Family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:30p Thursday Februarary 9, 2017 at her home.
