Michaela Kim Roach Pace 61, of Roanoke went home to be with the Lord Tuesday January 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband Ricky L. Pace.
Michaela was a graduate of Cave Spring High School and attended Virginia Western Community College. She worked for many years at the Mill Mountain Zoo and more recently for Tech Squared, Inc.
Surviving are her parents, Paul M. and Marjorie Watts Roach; son, Zachary A. Pace; daughter, Tyler A. Pace; brother, Brett R. Roach and wife Linda; nephews, Alec and Clay Roach and many extended family members.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Backpack Ministry C/O Cave Spring United Methodist Church 4505 Hazel Drive S. W. Roanoke, Va. 24018 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
A memorial service will be conducted 10 a.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Cave Spring United Methodist Church by the Rev. Denise Bates. The family will receive friends following the service. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home and Crematory. 366-0707
