Jack was an amazing and remarkable man. God gifted Jack, a large man, with unbelievable physical strength, intelligence, wisdom, and charisma. Jack lived his earthly life with the highest of values, and morals. His integrity, reliability, and dependability were unsurpassed. His word was his honor. Throughout his life, Jack was always active, with an appearance and vitality much younger than his age. His lifelong mission was to help other people. For the need of anyone, friend or stranger, Jack was always available.
Jack loved life, and people. Jack made others feel good, and brought out the good in them. As Jack stated, he had a wonderful and full life. In addition to his love to work, Jack loved to travel, especially riding his Gold Wing motorcycle. Jack planned and led numerous groups of friends on motorcycle trips to all and through all 48 continental states, including Alaska, Canada, Newfoundland, and Mexico.
Jack wanted to thank Dr. Mark Currie, whom he labeled “a genius”, and his nurse, Ruth Ann for 25 years of thoughtful service, and all the staff of Lewis Gale Radiation for their treatment of him. As Dr. Currie said, Jack is special. He was one of a kind, and will be greatly missed by all.
