Shirley Wagner Azrak, 69, of Roanoke, entered into peace and rest on Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Shirley was born January 22, 1947, in Buffalo, New York. She was a longtime resident of Ridgewood, New Jersey before moving to Roanoke, Va. She was a graduate of Wittenburg University, and was a successful business accountant.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Albert L. Azrak, and her parents Harold & Avis Wagner. Shirley is survived by brother, Charles & Nancy Kruger; cousins, Joyce Hughes, JoNell Arbogast, and Joan Baker; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Shirley’s name be donated to Green Ridge Presbyterian Church 7640 Alpine Road Roanoke VA 24019, or Old Paramus Reformed Church 660 East Glen Ave Ridgewood, NJ 07450. Services will be conducted Friday, October 28, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Old Paramus Reformed Church, Ridgewood NJ, with interment to follow at Valleau Cemetery. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home.
