Anna Lugene “Jean” Deaton Richardson, 89, of Galax, passed away on October 14, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brady Richardson, and her son Dennis Richardson. She is survived by two brother, Parks and Harold, Jr. Deaton; her son Thomas Richardson, and wife Nancy, grandchildren Brent Richardson and wife Chris, Amy Richardson Yepez and husband Carlos and Marlee Ann Richardson Lundy and husband Jason. Also survived by her four great-grandchildren, Sebastian, Gianna, Jade, and Kylan, as well as many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the First United Methodist Church in Galax, on Saturday, November 12, 2016, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Richard Gregory officiating.
