Virginia Faircloth Averitt, known to friends and family as “Jenny”, fell asleep in death on Friday September 2, 2016. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Roy Averitt, daughter, Sharon White and husband Keith , grandson, Jordan White, all of Roanoke, sisters, Jane Faircloth of Fayetteville, NC, and Joy Jackson and husband Claude of West Columbia, SC, along with numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2016, at 2 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 3359 Colonial Avenue, Roanoke, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Worldwide Work of Jehovah’s Witnesses at www.JW.org. Arrangements by Simpson Funeral Home. (540)366-0707.
